REFLECTION
Experience
As a design student, I got the opportunity to participate in a variety of
video editing and narrative tasks. assignments included organising video
clips in Adobe Premiere Pro, practising framing and storyboarding, filming
exercises to improve composition, and working on specific editing
assignments. Participating in these projects gave me valuable hands-on
experience, developed my talents, and broadened my outlook as a potential
graphic designer.
Observations
These exercises provided me with valuable insights into the world of video editing and sound shaping. Through hands-on experience, I became familiar with importing and organizing video footage within Adobe Premiere Pro. I also developed a deeper understanding of the significance of shot composition and storytelling techniques, realizing the impact they have on conveying a narrative effectively. Additionally, I learned the importance of capturing visually appealing shots that enhance the overall quality of a video. Moreover, these modules allowed me to explore the implementation of text message graphics and the synchronization of visuals to create a cohesive and polished edited video. Overall, this comprehensive exploration of video and sound editing has expanded my knowledge and skill set, equipping me with a solid foundation in these critical aspects of multimedia production.

Findings
I found this module to be enjoyable and fun, as it allowed me to explore
my creativity and passion for video editing. It was exciting to develop
proficiency in using Adobe Premiere Pro and witness the transformation
of raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing video. I
particularly enjoyed the challenges presented in ensuring smooth
transitions between video clips and maintaining a consistent visual
style throughout the project. Balancing creativity with the specific
requirements of each assignment was also a rewarding experience.
These projects not only helped me strengthen my skills as a design
student and future Graphic designer but also provided valuable hands-on
experience in video editing, storytelling, and visual composition.
Through these exercises, I learned the significance of attention to
detail, effective communication through visuals, and the art of crafting
engaging and cohesive narratives. The enjoyment I found in this module
further motivates me to continue developing my skills in visual
communication and storytelling, as they are crucial for creating
compelling user experiences.
