REFLECTION

During the journey, it was up and down like a roller coaster. The first task I was really enjoying it, I enjoyed the two physical and digital collages, I like how we started off easy and slowly implement the knowledge of Photoshop to utilize for the digital collage. The second task requires us to expand our creativity, I like double exposure the technical skill is on another level compared to task 1 more details and more things to be aware of, it's okay it's not that difficult but it did take me some time to master it but overall it was a fun experience and I do enjoy it. For our final project, it involves animation, at first I thought it will be a challenging task however from the introduction and during the process, it was not as difficult as I think, nevertheless, I do encounter some frustration situation when utilizing After Effects, but thanks to my lecturer Mr Martin has been very patient to assist us one by one to ensure that we are fully aware of what are we doing.

Our main core is to focus on photography, composition and animation in After Effects, I have not encountered Photoshop and After Effects before, but I think throughout the whole journey I did learn a lot, DPI has taught me new skills and techniques to create, to improvise, to be more efficiency and better quality of my work. I appreciate my lecturer Mr Martin who offered us to try on using a DSLR camera in a professional photo studio, learnt about the terminology of the camera on how to take good photos, The weekly exercise also helped me to absorb the knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects also it helps me to explore more about Photoshop. I hope to continue this module as I believe it will be a great help for my future as a designer.
