WEEK 1
EXERCISE 1: Quantify & Visualise Data
On Week 1, our first task is to quantify and visualise data, we need to quantify (count) your chosen items and arrange the objects into a presentable layout or chart.

Fig 1.1, Group arrangement, (Week 1, 15.1.2023)

For this exercise, I used sticker packs from (Oh My Bear) and grouped them according to the number of characters on the sticker pact on top of an A5 paper. For my first attempt I tried to separate them based on the brown bear position, for example, I placed the brown bear sticker on the top left according to the position of the 'brown bear', and created a heart-shaped with just the 'white bear' sticker on the centre. However, I feel that separating them based on position seems too all over the place hence I changed it into grouping the sticker by 'self-centred white bear' and 'bear in pairs'. After sorting them all in the final layout I wrote down the data - expressions of the character and number for each sticker pact, for instance, Hug Hug - 2, Suspicious - 1.

WEEK 2
EXERCISE  2: L.A.T.C.H.
Location / Alphabet / Time / Category / Hierarchy
For this exercise, we allow using digital photo editing/illustration software such as canvas and etc to assemble the provided topics included of Pokemon or Dinosaurs or FFXIV Bestiary or choices of our own and my choice is the 'Fall Guy' (min 4).

Alphabet: Order of "Fall Guys" four rounds; Race, Survival, Hunt and Final.
Category: Variety types of games on 4 different rounds.
Location: Placed at Fall Guy Solo Show or known as Main Show.
Hierarchy: Percentage of winning at each round.

FLIP_Task 1_Types of Infographic (Group)
Fig 2.2, Types of Infographics by Group 2.2: slides, (Week 1, 14.1.2023)

In week 1, we were assigned to research the types of infographics in a group, to get to have a better understanding of infographics.

FLIP _Task 2_Redesigning Infographics (Individual)
In week 1 class, we also had another task which is individual, we were instructed to find a poorly designed infographic and redesign it using a free online infographic tool

fig 2.3, Poor Infographics.

Issues:
1) Poor colour combinations
2) Pictures are too dim and dull.
3) The infographic is about winning an Ipad from ASPE however it's hard for viewers to notice it.
4) The background colour is not attractive.

Fig 2.4, Re-design infographic (Week 1, 15.1.2023)

I re-designed the poster with a better colour combination, for the first four I used colours such as bright red and lighter shades of green and blue as they are not essential and I used bright Yellow colours to differentiate from the others hence it is easier to capture audience attention.

FEEDBACK
Week 2
General Feedback: The composition of the Quantify and Visualise data was cute and Mr Martin has never seen it before. Overall, it was quite refreshing to see such a different poster.

Week 3 - Week 4
General Feedback: The poster was nice and detailed.

Specific Feedback: It was nice to see that all the slides were well-detailed and easy to understand as well, and the orientation was nice.

REFLECTION
Week 1 started light and easy, the tasks were easy to complete and also I discovered how essential it is to create an infographic poster, the composition is essential to capture the eyes of the audience, and the information is crucial for it to understand.
I like our very first task its kinda fun to do, like how we were during childhood period, gathering the objects and separating them and identifying the numbers and arrangement of them.
I also enjoy the process of creating an infographic poster of the L.A.T.C.H., it's fun to create a poster about games or any topic that we want to present. The one I choose is a game that is quite on trend it was called 'The Fall Guy'.
