REFLECTION

The beginning of this journey I was surrounded by an atmosphere of anxiety, certainly I am not a creative designer the last memory of me drawing an art it was at the age of 12, hence I was nervous and keep thinking am I able to do well in this module? And the first class, I remember vividly that we were assigned for to choose 5 design principle and design it, I was very afraid that I might unable to do so, however I know that keep having such negative thought will do me no good. I continuing did my research about design principles and it does give me a more better understanding about design principles. 

Before I begin my research, I always thought that design is just designing a piece of art without knowing it requires some certain rules, for an example Harmony is visually satisfying effect of combining the same elements or even related, and there's no contrast, it need to have monotonous. My first attempt of sketch for Harmony I did it wrong as I wasn't to sure about Harmony hence the art is more fit to the topic of 'Contrast' thus I need to redo it. That's why research is very important. 

One of the part that I enjoy the most is seeing myself trying different attempt regards to the art style and tools of designing an art, although I did have a consistent drawing but I do enjoy the process of me trying out different style and I enjoy the process of designing different theme that I have not encounter before. If I have to pick one thing that I don't really enjoy is I need to keep write and track down everything on my blog which is a bit challenging. Other than that, the module is fun. And honestly, I do hope that this module can extend because I really do enjoy it and I like it.
